Down 2-0, Saints prevail over Woodbury

Head Coach Alyssa Notermann wanted an early season challenge for her squad, which is why the Saints scheduled Woodbury, who came to town for a nonconference match Aug. 31.

Challenge accepted as St. Croix Falls came back from two sets down to win 21-25, 15-25, 25-20, 27-25, 17-15.

“We knew Woodbury would be tough,” she said. “We scheduled this match to be challenged to play our best. Also, we wanted to see what we need to focus on to get ready for the playoffs.”
