The St. Croix Falls girls golf team traveled to Northwestern for a Heart of the North conference match Aug. 30 and left with the win. 

The team scores were unavailable other than senior Julia Kloos leading the team with the low score. 

“The course was a bit easier than expected and it led to great results,” said SCF coach Katie Jacobson. “A big win for us.

“The girls played well and three of them earned conference points.” 

Spooner 203, St. Croix Falls 249

Spooner defeated St. Croix Falls 203-249 in a conference match Sept. 2 at Krooked Kreek. 

Sydney Greenfield and Molly Arf from Spooner had the low scores with a 44 each. Julia Corbin was next with a 54. 

St. Croix Falls was led by Josslin Belisle with a 55. Josie Sawicki shot a 63. Missy Jones posted a 64 and Julia Kloos and Sadie Olson each finished with a 67.
