Carver Lundholm

Carver Lundholm finished 19th in New Richmond.

Different meet, same results for the Osceola boys cross country team. 

The Chieftains cruised to the New Richmond team title as they had five runners place in the top 22. 

Osceola finished with 66 points compared to Hudson’s 97. Eau Claire North, by virtue of tiebreaker placed third at 129. 

Leading the way once again was Quinn McDonald. The senior won the individual title with a time of 15 minutes, 56.7 seconds. Holmen’s Cameron Lamere was 16 seconds behind. Prescott’s Tyler Loucks took third at 16:26.5.

Mason Hancock was next for the Chieftains as he took seventh (16:50). Ethan Hall was 17th, Carver Lundholm was 19th and Dylan Salewski was 22nd. The difference between Hall and Salewski was nine seconds. 

“The team had an excellent day,” said OHS coach Rachael Robinson. “Two team titles, several season and career bests, and the affirmation that pack running is hard to beat.”

Chieftains to a seventh place team finish. 

Hudson’s Haley Loewe posted a time of 17:56.8 to win the individual event. New Richmond’s Marah Benedict was second at 18:29.6. Ulrich clocked in at 18:47. 

Loewe helped the Raiders win the team portion with 65 points. Hudson had three runners place in the top 12. 

Amery was second with 94 points, edging Rice Lake, who scored 103. 

Kya Krenz was the next Chieftain, as she placed 38th (21:24). Chloe Backlund was 40th with the same time. Arieana Hayton finished 52nd (22:09) and Adelyn Ellefson was 55th to round ou the Osceola scoring (22:16.5)
