In the fall of 2019 my husband and I moved into a new house. After relocating between Wisconsin and Minnesota for a few years we were both really excited to have a home base again and looked forward to settling into our new space. We live in town but were lucky enough to find a home with a front and a backyard, a perfect for place for the puppy to play and for us to do as much landscaping as our hearts desire and our middle-aged backs can tolerate.

Just before we moved in there was an intense thunderstorm. As a result, one of our neighbor’s trees (a very large tree) collapsed into our backyard. Thanks to people with power tools and big trucks it was removed.
