Karl Liljenberg of Osceola died the morning of March 5, 2021, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minn. He was 54.

Karl was a bright, cheery man, who was without fail, always smiling. His laugh was contagious and he’d give anyone the shirt off of his back if they asked. Karl was loved by many and unknown by few. He spent his life loving his wife and daughter and doing the best he could to provide for them. His heart was bigger than the moon and he knew how to express that. He was never afraid to tell people he was proud of them or that he loved them.

Karl worked hard, played hard, but most importantly, he loved hard.

Karl is survived by his wife, Missy Liljenberg and daughter,Lindsay Letourneau (John); mother, Connie Cox; siblings, Laurie Sack (Mike),  Wanda Klingensmith (Kent), Keith Liljenberg (Sue), Jamie Cox (Jessie), and Julie Swanberg (Dean), along with countless nieces, nephews, other family members, and more friends than one man could possibly know what to do with.

A Celebration of Life and a birthday party for Karl’s 55th birthday will be held on April 3 between the Cascade Bar and Osceola Lanes on Cascade Street in downtown Osceola at 12 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Karl’s family. Karl never liked flowers anyway.
