Jesse Vilas Lueck of Luck died unexpectedly Sept. 15, 2021. He was 16.

He was born July 4, 2005, in New Richmond to his parents Cora and Bill. Jesse was both baptized and confirmed his faith at Grace Lutheran Church in Osceola. He grew up in Luck surrounded by many good friends.

Jesse attended school in Luck through ninth grade where he participated in both football and baseball. For his sophomore year he was attending school in Osceola where he was again playing football. Jesse loved to play football, to be outdoors hunting, four wheeling, or snowmobiling, to dream about future trucks he’d like to own, and to spend time with the friends and family whom he loved. Jesse was quick to make anyone laugh with a joke, a crazy antic, or his unique mismatched sock sense of style. He had a way with people and a grin that was unforgettable. Jesse was loved by so many family and friends. While we mourn for the loss of Jesse on this earth, we take comfort in the knowledge that he is a child of God forever.

Jesse is survived by his loving parents, mother and stepfather, Cora and TJ Witkiewicz and father and stepmother, Bill and Kristine Lueck. In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother Joe Lueck, and step-siblings Emily Witkiewicz, Elise King, and Gavin King. He was the grandson of Jeff and Carol Davis and Wayne and Jane Lueck as well as the great-grandson of Edith Hadlich. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of life service will be held Sept. 26 at 3 p.m., at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 200 N Adams Street St. Croix Falls. A visitation will be held from 1 to 5 p.m., Sept. 25 at the Grandstrand Funeral Home, 941 State Road 35, Osceola, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family directly or through Frandsen Bank & Trust - Kyle Johansen/Lueck Family P.O.Box 200 Luck, WI 54853.
