Alexander Lehman Sidney Woodworth of Osceola died unexpectedly on March 22, 2018, in Eau Claire. He was 24.

Alexander was born Jan. 1, 1994, to John and Kimberly (Clark) Woodworth in St. Croix Falls. Alexander attended Osceola High School and graduated class of 2012. He furthered his education at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Biology in the spring of 2017. He was planning to attend graduate school at the University of Oregon for his master’s degree in Philosophy.

Alexander worked at a coffee shop downtown in Eau Claire, he was tutor on campus and also taught a few philosophy classes at the local high school in Eau Claire. Alex also started up a few philosophy book reading clubs. His dream was to become a professor at the University of Oregon.

Alexander enjoyed reading, being at the coffee shop, and helping people. He especially loved the time spent with his family and friends.

Alexander is survived by his parents, John and Kim Woodworth; sister, Sarah (Thomas) Roach; brother, Jordan Woodworth and sister, Nicole Woodworth; grandparents, Steven (Nancy) Clark and Marvin (Joan) Woodworth; uncles, Michael Woodworth and Scott (Amy) Clark; aunts, Becky Clark and Krista (Dale) Hall and many cousins and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held March 31 at 1 p.m. at the Osceola Community Church.

Interment will be in the Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Dresser.
