Why are you running for village trustee?
We have several critical projects and other issues started in 2022 that need to be completed in 2023.
What is the top-priority issues facing the village?
Infrastructure updates, safe roadways, clean water and strategic planning with a balanced budget - all providing a happy, healthy and safe living environment for all residents.
What makes you the best candidate to represent the people in the next term?
I am reluctant to say that I am the “best” candidate as all members of our board are very dedicated, responsible and bring a positive attitude to their positions. Thank you, residents for your confidence in all of us to lead your Village.
Mark Kuhl
Why are you running for village trustee?
I think that citizen involvement creates a strong village government. I look forward to help solve village issues.
What is the top-priority issues facing the village in the upcoming term?
Dresser has some important projects in the next year. Our village needs to have citizen involvement to ensure project success.
What makes you the best candidate to represent the people in the next term?
I have the desire and energy to represent and contribute to Dresser’s future. I have volunteered at elections and in the past have served on many city boards.
Joe Peterson
Why are you running for village trustee?
I have decided to run again for village trustee because I truly care for our community and the people in it. I very much enjoy being a part of our democratic process. At times it can be difficult/ challenging other times it is fulfilling/satisfying. It forces me to grow in ways I greatly appreciate and couldn’t have otherwise.
What is the top-priority issues facing the village?
The top issue I believe facing the village and others like it are the rising costs of everything, everywhere.
What makes you the best candidate to represent the people in the next term?
I do not feel I am the best candidate by any means. Our town is made up of great people many of whom are far smarter than I am. This has very much been a learning experience for me and I feel honored to represent our people.
Bryan Raddatz
Why are you running for village president?
We have a great Village staff and I enjoy working with them, I was encouraged by many to run again. It is a pleasure to serve the Village of Dresser residents.
What are the top-priority issues facing the village in the upcoming term?
We are currently planning another road project in 2024 on two of our older streets, (First and Second streets just north of MainS treet). We will be replacing the sewer and water infrastructure, curb and gutter, new storm sewer and a new road surface.
What makes you the best candidate to represent the people in the next term?
I’m certainly not the best candidate for this position, I’m not sure who is, but I’m the one whom the residents keep electing! LOL
In all seriousness though, I do love our Village! We raised our family here and enjoy our neighbors, families and residents. I feel a certain obligation to give back to our community. I appreciate those who continue to give praise to our Village Employees, that helps us to know that the decisions the Village Board is making are correct (as can be)! As a Village Board(s) as a whole that I have worked with have been a pleasure. I look forward to serving another term if the Citizens choose to re-elect me again.
