Along with the new year, the Osceola Area Chamber and Main Street Board is welcoming new Interim Director Linsey Clark. The board is excited for, “The experience, education and enthusiasm for building business success through leadership, education and partnership as we move into the future.”

Before her new position with the Chamber, Clark worked for as a Project Coordinator- project manager eight years with the Hazeldon Betty Ford Foundation. She oversaw large scale events, trainings and publishing educational materials. “Working for the Betty Ford Foundation radiated with me as a career. During my time there, I got opportunities and moved up through the organization. Once the pandemic hit, events became limited and my job was transitioning. With my previous employment coming to an end, I was looking for something different and saw that the Chamber was looking for someone. Everything fell into place.”

Clark received her Bachelor’s of Psychology and a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership through Argosy University. She grew up in Wisconsin and currently lives in Taylors Falls with her husband and two children. They consider Osceola, “Their second home. My dad and husband work in Osceola. We do our grocery shopping there…I am a Wisconsin person at heart,” says Clark.

Clark came on as Interim Director following Germaine Ross who served as Executive Director since 2014. Clark explains, “The position was posted as interim, with the purpose of having someone come in and trial period over the next year; during this transition we will evaluate our systems, determine what is working and what needs improvement – the goal is for this to be a permanent position. This is a discovery period to see how and what works best.”

As of Jan. 1, Clark started in her new position. The community can get the chance to meet her at the All Member annual meeting that will be held virtually on Jan. 10 at 5:30 p.m.
