Ice fishing team kicks off season

The two time defending state champion Osceola Ice Fishing Team kicked off their season with a Panfish Tournament this past Saturday.  In this tournament, each team of up to five students entered their best 10 crappie, 5 perch, and 5 bluegill for a total combined length.  Osceola entered 3 teams in the 60 team field.   One team from Osceola finished in 4th place with 185”, and the other two Osceola Teams tied for 6th both with 182.5”.  Three Lakes won with 195.5”.  The 12 anglers that competed were, front row: Max Michel, Landon Campeau, Tred Hiljus, Gavin Priebe, Tim Nissen. Back row: Drew Pingel, Brock Studer, Davin Lindh, Keegan Saloka, Reid Clark, Jon Berg, Nick Nissen.
