Emily McCurdy

Senior Emily McCurdy has helped the Saints get off to a 4-0 record in their new conference this season. After years of play in the Lakeland conference SCF now resides in the Heart O’North. 

 

When and Where: September 29th at Cameron

Outcome: St. Croix Falls 3, Cameron 1

Summary: St. Croix Falls went on a road trip to begin their week when they traveled  to Cameron to take on the Comets. The Saints got off to a quick start winning the first two sets by identical 25-17 scores. Cameron tried to crawl back into the match with a win in the third set by a score of 25-19. SCF regained momentum in the fourth set and finished the match with a 25-16 decision.

When and Where: October 1st at St. Croix Falls

Outcome: St. Croix Falls 3, Bloomer 0

Summary: The Saints rolled past the Bloomer Blackhawks in Heart O’North play last week with a 3-0 win in a match played in St. Croix Falls. SCF outscored Bloomer 75-47 over the three sets winning by scores of 25-16, 25-11 and 25-20.

What this Means: St. Croix Falls continues undefeated in the Heart O’North this season and as of the end of last week was the only undefeated team left in the conference. The Saints play another pair of HON games this week including a match at Cumberland on Oct. 8.
