I was born and raised in Osceola and return several times a year to visit. In early June I was in town and made my way to the cemetery to see the graves of my parents and grandparents.

I was dismayed to see the sorry condition of the cemetery lawn. I don’t know how often the grass is mowed, but it was obvious it had not been for some time.

I hate to see what I remember as a well cared for cemetery in my youth in this condition. I would hope that whoever is in charge of this could give more attention to its maintenance.
