Vernon Langenback of Osceola died Dec. 23, 2018, at the VA Hospital in Minneapolis, Minn. He was 75.

Vernon was born May 16, 1943, in Osceola, to Carl and Beatrice (Davidson) Langenback. 

Vernon was drafted in to the United States Army on June 30, 1965. He was stationed in Germany and Honorably discharged June 14, 1967.

Vernon was employed at Osceola School District as a bus driver for over 20 years. He enjoyed to travel, hunt, fish and ride motorcycle.

Vernon is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Beatrice and sister-in-law; Mary Lou Langenback.

Vernon is survived by his brother, Charles Langenback; nieces and nephews: Kimberly (Alan) Kahl, John Langenback (fiancée Jodi Gustafson), Martin (Beverly) Langenback, Maria (Greg Smith) Langenback; great nieces and nephews: Justin Mortenson, Josiah (Tanya) Mortenson, Olivia Smith, Nathaniel Kahl (fiancée Naomi Williamson), Matthew Kahl (fiancée Katie Monnig), Joshua Langenback and Matthew Langenback.

Funeral Services were Dec. 31 at Grandstrand Funeral Home, Osceola, with Pastor Scott Adkins officiating. 

Interment took place at Kahbakong Cemetery in Taylors Falls, Minnesota.
