Robert Raymond Larsen (Bob) of Osceola died peacefully Dec. 24, 2020, at Christian Community Home in Osceola. He was 89.

Robert was born May 11, 1931, to Raymond and Myrtle Larsen (Simonsen).He graduated from Frederic High School in 1949 and married Delores Johnson on Oct. 12, 1948.

As a young man, Robert began his own milk route and farmed. He then worked in Luck, selling cars for Nielsen Motors, and in 1960 he bought S & L Chevrolet in Grantsburg. He owned and operated this dealership until 1978 when he sold out. For many years afterward Robert was a salesman for his son Terry at Larsen Chevrolet and Larsen Auto Center.

From 1986 to 2001 Bob and Delores were snowbirds in Texas and enjoyed traveling to many places. Bob loved fishing, hunting deer and elk hunts out west with his son and friends. He was an avid woodcarver sharing many hours with granddaughter Siiri, passing along his artistic skills to her.

As a community member, Bob was very involved. He was a Shriner, a mason in the Masonic Lodge, and an active part of Rotary where he was awarded the Paul Harris Award.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Myrtle Larsen and his daughter Lori (Jack) Cullen.

He leaves behind his wife of 72 years, Delores; his son Terry (Brenda) Larsen of Webster; his son-in-law Jack Cullen of River Falls; granddaughter Siiri (Xavier) Foeller of Webster; step-grandchildren Stefanie (Will Lee) Janssen and Justin (Eja) Coveau all of Webster; his sisters Shirley Kongshaug of Luck and Nancy (Bruce) Kreutzian of Cannon Falls, Minn., plus three great-granddaughters and a niece and nephew.

Due to Covid 19, private funeral services will be held Dec. 31 at Peace Lutheran Church in Dresser.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Larsen Family Public Library in Webster.
