Loretta (Lolly) Flater Johnson was born in St. Paul, Minn., and graduated from White Bear High School in 1956 and has lived in Hugo, S. St. Paul, Buena Park, Calif., White Bear Lake, Stillwater and was a long-time resident of Osceola.  

Lolly loved to connect with friends. She loved the monthly lunches at Keys café with classmates and visiting friends at the Royal Oaks after exercising.  She loved attending bible studies in the area with her friends and attending concerts. 

Throughout her life Loretta loved traveling, baking, bowling, motorcycling, camping, gardening, tennis, and snowmobiling. 

She was a vital part of farm life as she fed everyone who came through the front door, whether it was the feed salesman or the hired help.  You could always count on a hearty meal and fabulous baked goods before getting back to work.  

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Keith Johnson, her parents, Marvin and Myrtle Flater, and a brother, Paul Flater.  

Loretta is survived by children Wayne (Cindy Hageman) Johnson, Wanda Walker, Wendy (Mark) Weyer, Weslie (David) Gray, Warren (Lanette) Johnson; 18 Grandchildren; 27 great grands and 3 great, great grands.  Her sister Sharon (George) Franklin, a brother Fred (Becky) Flater and sister-in-law Juanita Flater.

Services for Loretta Johnson will be held Monday, Sept 23, from 3 to 3:30 p.m. at the Osceola Community Church, 2492 Education Ave. Osceola. Fellowship to follow until 6 p.m.
