Leonard M. Potting died peacefully at his home in White Bear Lake, Minn., on Dec. 11, 2018. He was 89.

Leonard “Sonny” was an incredible role model known for his twinkling blue eyes, calm demeanor and infectious smile. Sonny was a loving husband and father who enjoyed bowling and playing softball. An army veteran who served in the Korean War, Leonard served one tour of duty.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Mathilda Potting, four brothers and one sister.

He is survived by his loving wife Anne; two sons Terry and Dale (Mary); eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, four brothers and six sisters. Services will be Dec. 19 at St Joseph Catholic Church in Osceola at 10 a.m. with visitation one hour before. Burial will follow at Assumption Saint Mary’s Cemetery in East Farmington.
