Harris C. Steffen of Osceola died Nov. 4, 2020, at the Christian Community Home in Osceola. He was 91.

He was born March 21, 1929, in Somerset Township, to parents Elmer and Frances Steffen.

Harris loved fishing, hunting, cars, trucks, tractors, and fish fries. He liked to play pinochle and watch Wheel of Fortune. He was a leader in the farm community and served on many farm boards. He was proud of his farm accomplishments. He was also an avid Packer and Badger fan.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lela; parents Elmer and Frances; sisters Murley and Ruby; brother Curtis Sr.; granddaughter Dana Steffen, and greatgrandson Austin Mutschler.

Harris is survived by his children, Denise Steffen-Fox, Peter (Bonnie) Steffen, Donae Steffen, Tracy (Julie) Steffen, Dawn (Dennis) Neumann, Thomas Steffen, and Jennifer Branum; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sisters Marge, Lois, Grace, and Darlene; brothers Charles and Darwin; and many numerous relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Nov. 7, at the Zion Lutheran Church in East Farmington. Visitation was held 4-7 p.m. Friday at church and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

Interment at the Oak Grove Cemetery in East Farmington.
