Eleanor Charlotte Brocker of St. Croix Falls, died Dec. 15, 2019, at Divine Rehab & Nursing in St. Croix Falls. She was 102.

Eleanor was born July 7, 1917, in Corona, N.Y., to Joseph and Rebecca (Littler) Grentzer. She was united in marriage to Edward Torgersen on Feb. 13, 1937, in Parma, OH. She later married Herman Brocker on Jan. 4, 1974, in Osceola.

Eleanor was a homemaker for her family. She enjoyed reading and crocheting and birthday parties at The Village Pizzeria Dresser.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Rebecca Grentzer; husbands, Edward Torgersen and Herman Brocker; son, Howard Torgersen.

She is survived by her son, David (Karen) Torgersen; daughters, Gail (Charles) Bowles, Lynne Cross; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will be held in summer 2020. Memorials are preferred to Divine Rehab & Nursing or Redeemer Lutheran Church. Condolences may be expressed at www.grandstrandfh.com.
