Darcia Jen (Anderson) Schultz of Balsam Lake died surrounded by family Aug. 27, 2019 at her home. She was 54.

Darcia Jen Schultz was born Aug. 25, 1965, at the St. Croix Regional Medical Center to LaVerne and Joan (Hanson) Anderson.

She attended Osceola High School, graduating class of 1983.

After graduation, Darcia was employed with Plastic products and later started working for Andersen Windows in Bayport, Minn., retiring after 22 years.

Darcia enjoyed fishing on the Lake of the Woods, being up north at the cabin as a child, snowmobiling, arts and crafts, bowling in the 2000’s with Susie Jasperson, watching the birds, nature and going to garage sales with Nancy Wilson. She especially enjoyed the time spent with her children, watching them grow and attending their sporting events. She will be deeply missed by many.

Darcia was preceded in death by her parents, LaVerne and Joan Anderson, grandparents, George (Amanda) Anderson, Herman (Jennie) Hanson.

Darcia is survived by her husband, Dale Schultz; children, Mitch Meyer, Mariah Meyer and McKenzie Meyer; Valerie Schultz and Spencer Schultz; grandson, Miles Schultz; brother, David Anderson; special cousin Teri Hanson; father of Mitch, Mariah and McKenzie, Timothy Meyer and many other relatives.
