Alan Patrick Huschka of Dresser died unexpectedly Aug. 19, 2020 at the St. Croix Regional Medical Center. He was 69.

Alan was born May 6, 1951 in Laurel, Mont., to Ralph and Rose (Fischer) Huschka. On June 25, 1985 he was united in marriage to Betty Ahola in Hettinger, N.D. This marriage was blessed with four children.

Alan started his career for BSNF Railroad. He was employed with them for 30 years, for 17 of those years he was a trainmaster and retired in 2001. Alan and Betty also owned and operated Fireside RV Park and Cabins in Loveland, CO for 17 years. Alan enjoyed his motor home and spending the winters in Arizona with Betty. He especially enjoyed the time spent with his children and grandchildren.

Alan is survived by his wife Betty; children, Jeremie (Taunya) Huschka and their children, Haley, Devin and Bentley; Nathan (Lisa) Huschka and their children, Hesston and Hayden; Leisha (Travis) Huber and Dallas Daniels; sisters, Arlene Hofferber and Rosella (Jim) Splonskowski; sister-in-law, Darlene Huschka and other relatives and family.

Alan is preceded in death by his parents; brother, William and brother-in-law, Jerry Hofferber.

Memorials preferred to charity of choice in memory of Alan Huschka.

Visitation was held from 11:00 – 1:00 pm, Monday, August 24, 2020 at the Grandstrand Funeral Home in Osceola, WI. Condolences may be expressed online at www.grandstrandfh.com.
