Fall sports will be occurring throughout the state of Wisconsin.

The WIAA Board of Control approved Thursday the plan for fall sports to resume, but some will be starting at different dates because of what was deemed "lower-risk" and "higher-risk" sports as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Girls golf, girls tennis, girls swimming and diving and boys and girls cross cross country can start Aug. 17 and football, boys soccer and girls and boys volleyball Sept. 7.
