The driver of a camper that caught fire June 22 has been identified as 35-year-old Thomas Brown II of Ham Lake, Minnesota.

The camper fire was reported at 4:37 p.m. on the south ditch of Ravine Drive in the Town of Osceola.

Responders from Allied Emergency Services’ Dresser branch put the fire out and discovered a body inside.

According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the camper had been traveling east on Ravine Drive when it veered into the south ditch, striking several trees. After coming to a rest, it ignited.
