The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is hoping to find more information about the RV camper fire, June 22, just outside of Dresser on Ravine Drive.

The Sheriff’s Office is looking to speak with an adult male and an adult female who had contact with the RV driver shortly before the fire was reported to law enforcement (between 4 and 4:20 pm). The subjects were known to be driving a smaller truck similar Dodge Dakota or S10, black or dark in color.

Both of the subjects are believed to be in their late 20s or early 30s and, according to witnesses, attempted to help the occupant of the camper get the RV out of the ditch.

"We believe their interaction with the occupant is critical to the on-going investigation and are looking to speak with them," Sheriff Brent Waak wrote in a news release.

Anyone with information that might help identify these subjects is encouraged to call the sheriif's office at 715-485-8300.
