A recognition of service was given to retiring Osceola Police Officer Dan Kelley on Tuesday, Oct. 8. An award given to him by Osceola Chief of Police, Ron Pedrys, read, “Presented to Officer Dan Kelley in appreciation of 26 years of outstanding service to the citizens of the village of Osceola, Wisconsin.”

“Dan has done a fantastic job over the years,” said Pedrys. “I could fill the whole evening with stories. His professional career was interrupted several times because Dan was also a National Guard retiree after 24 years. He did three tours in Iraq as well. But throughout that time, whenever he came back he filled shifts for us and worked with us whenever needed. Dan, thank you very much.”
