(Medina, Mn.)-- Polaris Industries announced Monday it will be suspending production schedules and operations at several plants, including Osceola, for a week effective Tuesday, March 24. Other plants that will be affected included those in Huntsville, Ala., Monticello and Roseau, Minn.; Battle Ground, Wash. and Spirit Lake, Iowa. Plants in Monterrey, Mexico and one in Poland will also be affected.

“The company is continuing to diligently manage its business, adjusting production schedules based on current demand signals and continued market uncertainty,” said Scott Wine, Chairman and CEO for Polaris Industries.

He said the company will continue to ship finished vehicles to dealers and will produce products considered essential by the cyber-security and Infrastructure Security Agency, including vehicles built or fitted for the U.S. Military, federal, state or local governments or customers who are critical to shipping and delivery services.
