The Osceola School District announced last month most of phase 1 projects from the referendum have been completed and are moving onto phase 2.

The phase 2 projects are:

Secure entrance projects at the High School and Intermediate School.

Boiler, chiller and hot water heater replacement at the High School.

Rooftop air handling unit at the Middle School.

Chiller at the Intermediate School

Carpet replacement at the High School, Middle School and Intermediate School.

Roof Replacement at the High School and Middle School.

Window replacement at the Middle School.

Buildings and Grounds Director Bob Schmidt reported the chiller project will start in April and the boilers at the high school as soon as they can be shut off. He predicted the roof would start in April or May and the rest of them in June.

He further stated two phase 1 projects are still to be completed – replacing the interior LED light fixtures and polishing the concrete in the high school.
