New faculty at the Osceola School district for the 2020-2021 includes:
Caroline (Carrie) Jundt: Sixth grade Social Studies teacher. Jundt graduated from UW – Eau Claire in 2020 in with a major in Broadfield Social Studies Secondary Education with a history emphasis.
Dylan Ringer: Osceola High School Phy Ed teacher. Ringer graduated from Northland Pines High School in Eagle River. While in high school he played football, basketball, & track. After high school Dylan served in the United States Navy as a Construction Mechanic for three years and volunteered as a Command Fitness Leader. He had two deployments in his three years of service; one in Rota, Spain and one in Dili, Timor-Leste. Dylan then enrolled at UW-Oshkosh to pursue his degree in Physical Education.
Janna Lundein: Osceola Middle and High School as a Spanish teacher. Lundein grew up in Duluth, Minn., and is still her favorite place to visit as her parents live along the shore of Lake Superior. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in English & Spanish from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa. She then received her Master’s Degree in English from Minnesota State University Mankato. After college, she taught for seven years in Iowa.
Kaitlyn Joyce: Osceola High School English teacher. Joyce recently graduated from Hamline University and earned her Masters of Art in Teaching. She received her undergraduate from the University of Minnesota in Communications and Global Studies. While in school, she worked as a long term and short term substitute teacher in several districts in the Twin Cities metro. She also taught a short time in Melbourne, Australia.
Markell Ramich: Osceola Elementary School Special Education teacher.
Markell graduated from University of WI-Stout with a dual degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. She was a teaching assistant for four years at Stout’s campus childcare center. She also was a substitute paraprofessional in her free time, serving children with special needs. She had the opportunity to student teach at Unity Elementary School, Boyceville Elementary, Barron Elementary, Hudson Prairie Elementary, and most recently at Flynn Elementary in the Eau Claire School District.
Ryan Sauve: Osceola High School Social Studies teacher. Sauve is originally from Cameron, and attended college at St. Scholastica in Duluth. He just finished the 2019-20 school year teaching 6-8th grade at Prairie Winds Middle School in Mankato.
Tracie Gillund: Osceola Intermediate School fifth grade teacher. Gillund graduated from the University of WIisconsin – River Falls with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Mathematics. The past five years she has taught at two different charter schools in Minneapolis. At Cedar Riverside Community School she taught 5-8th grade math. One year she was a Math Specialist where she was in charge of the math program for the school. She then taught at KIPP Minnesota where she had a variety of roles including teaching a 5/6 resource room math & English. She also taught 6th grade math and co taught as a special education teacher.
Stephanie Tokar: Osceola Intermediate School Special Education teacher. Tokar has B.S. Elementary Education from UW-Superior, 2017; M.S.E. Special Education from UW-Superior, 2020; 5th grade teacher-Barnum, MN 2017-2018; 4th & 5th Grade Cross Categorical Special Education Teacher-Superior, WI 2018-2019; One-on-One Paraprofessional for a 4th grade student with Autism-Baldwin, 2019-2020
Ryan Wood: Osceola High School Business & Marketing teacher. Ryan graduated from Unity High School. He then received his Bachelor’s Degree in Management from University of WI – Green Bay and his teaching license through edUCATE-WI.
Anja Lake: Osceola Intermediate School third grade teacher. Lake received her Bachelor’s & Masters in English and Biology from Goethe University, Frankfurt, Germany. She then received her Elementary Education Certificate from the American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence. She was then an ELA Teacher from grades 5 and 6 in Germany, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade aide at Luck School District along with being a 4K teacher at Luck.
Jessica Olson: Osceola Elementary as a 4K teacher. Olson received her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2014 from the University of Wisconsin River Falls. She comes with six years of experience in working with children. She most recently taught 3-4 year olds at New Richmond Head Start.
David Eichler: Osceola Middle School Physical Education teacher. Eichler graduated from Ecclesia College in 2015 with a BS in Business Administration and then in 2020 graduated from UW- River Falls with a BS in Health and Human Performance.
Megan Ellison: Osceola Elementary School as a first grade teacher. Ellison graduated from UW- Eau Claire in 2019 and her first year teaching was as a fourth grade teacher in Stillwater.
