Jake Patterson

At the request of the Barron County Sheriff’s Office, The Polk County Jail is currently housing Inmate Jake Thomas Patterson.

Jake Patterson, the suspect charged with abducting 13-year-old Jayme Closs in October, is being held in the Polk County Jail, according to Polk County Sheriff Brent Waak.

Patterson was brought to Polk County at about 4:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at the request of the Barron County Sheriff’s Office.

Patterson was arrested Jan. 10 after Closs escaped from a cabin in Gordon, Wisconsin. He was charged Jan. 14 with kidnapping, two counts of intentional homicide for killing Closs' parents and He one count of armed robbery.
