Dresser’s village board has decided to hire KLM Engineering, Inc. to help with maintenance of the village water tower. 

Based in Lake Elmo, Minnesota, KLM is a structural engineering and inspection firm that specializes in water towers and antennas.

The scope of work for the Dresser project is not yet known.

Other business

• Allied Emergency Services’ Annual Spaghetti Dinner will be held April 13.

• The board approved annual contributions for 2019 as follows: $895 to the Polk County Economic Development Corporation and $5,436 to the Osceola Area Ambulance.

• The village will send a proposal to Xcel Energy to run power to both of Dresser’s welcome signs. The village hopes to use the electricity to light the signs, flags and seasonal decorations.
