Interested candidates in applying for the vacancy on the Osceola Village Board still have until 4 p.m., Aug. 31 to submit their application.

A candidate forum and interviews with the Village Board will be Sept. 8 with the candidate being sworn in on Oct. 13. 

The vacancy was created when Tim Anderson resigned on Aug. 4. Anderson's replacement will serve out the rest of his term, which will expire in April 2021.
