SOMERSET – Major environmental groups have endorsed Senator Patty Schachtner’s re-election. Wisconsin Conservation Voters, Clean Wisconsin Action Fund, and Sierra Club have all voiced their support for Patty and her continued efforts to protect our state’s natural resources.

“I’m proud to have the support of these three groups that have done great work to ensure that Wisconsin’s future generations have access to the beautiful Wisconsin environment that we have. Protecting our state’s clean water, native animals, and rich forests is critical to the health and future prosperity of our state,” said Patty.

Patty has voted to protect wetlands, authored legislation to protect water quality for rural well owners, and pushed efforts to research and stop the spread of Chronic Wasting Disease through our state’s deer herd. She has also worked to advance 21st century solutions to support more sustainable agriculture.

“I grew up enjoying Wisconsin’s lakes, hunting with my family, and just spending time in our great outdoors. Our grandkids deserve to do the same so I’m committed to doing everything I can to preserve and celebrate our natural resources,” said Patty.
